Western Regional Esports Invitational
Base support events are the future of Air Force Gaming, helping to engage and grow communities on Air Force Bases across the US and globally.
Different AFG bases from across the US traveled to Salt Lake City to attend the Western Regional Esports Invitational. Like the Eastern Regional Esports Invitational, held in Biloxi, Mississippi, WREI was an opportunity for AFG bases to qualify for CONUS, the main event of the program, held in Florida.
To date, Loadscreen has done all base events for AFG, with the WREI being our fourth of 2024. Like the previous events, Loadscreen supplied all media and broadcast on-site for the event.
KEY GOALS & DELIVERABLES
- Document all aspects of the event, from attendees to the interactions between the different AFG teams.
- Supply the team and physical/virtual infrastructure for a professional broadcast on-site.
- Provide the media team and equipment on-site.
